How we Quote

In view of the specialist nature of this insurance, each quotation is based on the applicant's medical history, current health and clinical status. In order to obtain a quote please telephone 01252 780 190. We undertake to deal with all enquiries with sensitivity and empathy. We will ask you a few simple details about the nature and history of your medical condition and of course, your current state of health. Your enquiry will be assessed by an insurance professional who will discuss the background of your medical condition with you. All cases are underwritten individually based on your medical condition. We reserve the right not to provide cover.

The Policy

InsureCancer's insurance policy is designed to protect UK holidaymakers who have had a diagnosis of cancer. As long as you provide full details of your medical condition and have your doctor's approval to travel, our policies will offer peace of mind in the event you have a medical problem whilst travelling abroad. Cover is available for most destinations worldwide. This policy is only valid if you are commencing and returning to the UK and you cannot effect a policy once you have started a trip. For full details of the terms, conditions, exclusions and excesses applicable please refer to the policy document. Money Back Guarantee: If for any reason you are not satisfied with the terms and conditions of your cover, you can return your policy within 14 days. As long as you do this before the period of insurance starts and you have not made a claim, we will cancel your policy and refund the premiums you have paid. Automatic Extension of Cover: All our policies have the added benefit of an automatic extension of cover. If you are unable to return to the UK as planned before the expiry of your policy due to illness, injury or interruption of public transportation services, cover will be automatically extended without charge. A bespoke Policy document and Schedule is provided in each case.

Key Benefits

InsureCancer policies offer: Comprehensive travel insurance which includes cover for a holidaymaker’s diagnosis of cancer to worldwide destinations including North America and the Caribbean. We provide medical and emergency expenses cover up to £5 million. Each case is individually assessed and rated by an insurance professional, based on the applicant’s current clinical status. We do not use ‘screening’ or automated quotation systems as these are unsuitable for cancer patients. Cover is available for those with a diagnosis of cancer (including those with a 'terminal' prognosis) as long as they are fit to travel and are doing so with the approval of their attending oncologist. Automatic extension of cover if your return is delayed by illness or injury. 24 hour, 7 days a week multi-lingual crisis management help line to assist in the event of a medical emergency. Speedy completion and confirmation of cover.
